THE LIES WE TELL, SECRETS WE KEEP…..

A secret, is a tough thing to keep, more especially if that concealed truth has a potent, harmful element in the path of the bearer. Individuals have the valour of doing atrocious deeds which their Karma is forcefully against. However, because they are driven by gluttony, anger, pride and sloth; their only way of surviving is to do the deed and conceal the unseen, unheard and unknown.

What drives an individual to keep secrets? Some people start of with a little white-lie, which leads to another little white-lie, creating a bunch of little white-lies, forming a mental and spiritual depravity of dark spots of lies that end up being a big dark lie in their lives.

People who start of with little white lies, are prone to find some form of earthly unhealthy appeasement to their suffering, due to the immensity of guilt that is eating away at their souls. Others learn to overcome this destructive addiction of telling lies, however others timely find liberation in constantly perpetuating the pattern of lying without reprimand – giving way to even more deeper secrets.

We find ourselves telling  a lie without knowing the effect that lie will lead to. We find ourselves trying to alter the cause of our lying by covering up that lie with another, thus a formulation of secrets from an evil concatenation that leads one to doing the undoable things unto others.  We find ourselves keeping secrets.

The effects of keeping a deep dark secret many be long winding, with that secret blinding the bearer’s perception on the reality of the matter either emotionally, physically or mentally.

Take for example a woman who’s deeply in love with a man that doesn’t even notice her at work. She tries to gain that man’s attention by playing flirtatious games with him – he still doesn’t notice. She starts following the man to every place he goes to during lunchtime and after work, eventually his home – he pays no attention. She calls him up, he waves her off, she keeps trying, he changes his number. She sees him with his true love, she gets jealous. His love disappears without a trace. He has no clue, she has a secret.

Someone once told me that nothing stays hidden forever, and I mentioned that there are people out there that take their deepest darkest secrets to the grave, and those barren secrets shall remain unseen, unheard and unknown to those they held dear.

No one is made by lies, and the sad truth about those who are made by those little white-lie, end up telling a bigger destructive lie, that will eventually catch-up with them, either now or later. It’s in the soul not your sole!
